In part III, the Assembly decides to establish an ad hoc committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings and an international convention for the suppression of acts of nuclear terrorism, to supplement related existing international instruments. The ad hoc committee would also address means of further developing a comprehensive legal framework of conventions dealing with international terrorism.

Furthermore, the resolution recommended that the General Assembly establish an ad hoc committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombing and, subsequently, an international convention for the suppression of acts of nuclear terrorism, and thereafter to address means of further developing a comprehensive legal framework of conventions dealing with international terrorism.

ونرحب أيضا بقرار مجلس اﻷمن ٨٦٥ )١٩٩٣( في ٢٢ ايلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣ الذي يدعو بموجبه المجلس اﻷمين العام، بين جملة أمور، إلى التشاور مع بلدان المنطقة والمنظمات اﻹقليمية المعنية حول وسائل مواصلة تنشيط عملية المصالحة من جديد.

إذ أنها أفضل جهد وقائي ضد الحروب في المستقبل والمآسي اﻹنسانية التي تجلبها الحروب، وهي أفضل وسيلة لمواصلة تدعيم اﻷمن الدولي وجميع المنافع التي يجلبها السلم لتنمية التعاون الدولي.
