69. The Special Rapporteur noted the adoption of General Assembly resolution 57/219 of 18 December 2002 in which it affirmed that States must ensure that any measure taken to combat terrorism complies with their obligations under international law.
69- لاحظ المقرر الخاص اتخاذ الجمعية العامة القرار 57/219 المؤرخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002، الذي أكدت فيه أنه يجب على الدول أن تضمن اتساق أي تدابير تتخذها لمكافحة الإرهاب مع التزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي.

The General Assembly, in resolution 63/185, reaffirmed that States must ensure that any measure taken to combat terrorism complies with their obligations under international law, in particular human rights, refugee and humanitarian law, and called upon States to raise awareness about the importance of these obligations among national authorities involved in combating terrorism.
أكدت الجمعية العامة من جديد في قرارها 63/185 أنه يتعين على الدول أن تكفل عدم تعارض أي تدابير تتخذها لمكافحة الإرهاب مع التزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي، ولا سيما حقوق الإنسان واللاجئين والقانون الإنساني، وأهابت بالدول إذكاء الوعي بأهمية هذه الالتزامات لدى السلطات الوطنية الضالعة في مكافحة الإرهاب.
