(a) The definition of the notion of " space activities " should be developed in view of the fact that the replies received from Member States to the questionnaire on aerospace objects, as well as the deliberations in the Subcommittee on the agenda item, had indicated that two approaches to the problem were predominant: namely, spatial and functional.
