2. Invites States Members of the United Nations, and members of the specialized agencies and pertinent intergovernmental and governmental organizations, to exert all possible efforts on behalf of the success of the Year, in particular regarding ecotourism in developing countries;
٢ - يدعو الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة، واﻷعضاء في الوكالات المتخصصة والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والحكومية الوثيقة الصلة بهذا الموضوع، إلى أن تبذل كل الجهود الممكنة من أجل نجاح هذه السنة الدولية، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالسياحة اﻹيكولوجية في البلدان النامية؛

12. Confirms that the special session will be open to the participation of all States Members of the United Nations, members of the specialized agencies and observers, in accordance with the established practice of the General Assembly; See resolution 52/100, para. 46.

The Assembly also decided to establish a Preparatory Committee open to the participation of all States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies.
