Since mercenary activities and the conduct of the mercenary per se can seriously impair the enjoyment of human rights, the self—determination of peoples, the stability of constitutionally established Governments and the maintenance of international peace and security, mercenary activity and conduct must be clearly and unequivocally banned.
٤٠١- ونظرا لما تشكله أنشطة المرتزقة وسلوك المرتزقة في حد ذاته من انتهاكات خطيرة للتمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان، وحق الشعوب في تقرير المصير، واستقرار الحكومات الدستورية القائمة، وللسلم واﻷمن الدوليين، يتعين حظر القيام بتلك اﻷنشطة وذلك المسلك بشكل واضح وقاطع.

44. Because mercenary activities and the conduct of the mercenary himself can seriously impair the enjoyment of human rights, the self-determination of peoples, the stability of constitutionally established governments and international peace and security, mercenary activities and the mercenary career must be clearly and unequivocally banned.
٤٤ - ونظرا لما تعنيه أنشطة المرتزقة وتصرفاتهم في حد ذاتها من انتهاكات خطيرة لتمتع الشعوب بحقوق اﻹنسان وحق تقرير المصير واستقرار الحكومات القائمة دستوريا والسلم واﻷمن الدوليين، ينبغي منع أنشطة المرتزقة ومهنة المرتزقة منعا واضحا لا لبس فيه.

89. ٨٩ - ونظرا لما تشكله أنشطة المرتزقة وسلوك المرتزقة في حد ذاته من انتهاكات خطيرة للتمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان، وحق الشعوب في تقرير المصير، واستقرار الحكومات الدستورية القائمة، وللسلم واﻷمن الدوليين، يتعين حظر القيام بتلك اﻷنشطة وذلك المسلك بشكل واضح وقاطع.

81. Since the nature of the act and the classification of a mercenary have not changed, although the forms and operational methods have, the condemnation of mercenary activities and the use of mercenaries by the Commission on Human Rights and other United Nations bodies is still valid.
81- وبما أن طبيعة الفعل وتصنيف المرتزق لم يطرأ عليهما تغيير، وإن طرأ التغيير على الأشكال وأساليب العمليات، يظل من الملزم أن تعمل لجنة حقوق الإنسان وهيئات الأمم المتحدة الأخرى على إدانة أنشطة المرتزقة واستخدامهم.

٧١١- ونظرا ﻹمكان إخلال أنشطة المرتزقة وسلوك المرتزقة أنفسهم إخلالا جسيما بالتمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان، وحق الشعوب في تقرير المصير، واستقرار الحكومات الدستورية القائمة، والسلم واﻷمن الدوليين، فإنه يتعين حظر أنشطة المرتزقة والاحتراف بهذه المهنة قطعيا وبوضوح.
