(i) The Conference assessed the request submitted by Argentina for an extension of Argentina's deadline for the destruction of anti-personnel mines in mined areas in accordance with article 5.1, agreeing to grant the request for an extension until 1 January 2020.
قيم المؤتمر الطلب الذي قدمته الأرجنتين لتمديد الموعد النهائي المحدد لها لإتمام تدمير الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة وفقاً للمادة 5-1 من الاتفاقية، ووافق على الاستجابة لطلب التمديد إلى 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2020.

It was emphasised that clearance of all mined areas in accordance with article 5 is part of the Convention's overall comprehensive approach to ending the suffering and casualties caused by anti-personnel mines - " for all people, for all time. "
21- وجرى التشديد على أن تطهير جميع المناطق الملغمة وفقاً لأحكام المادة 5 جزء من النهج الشامل الذي تتوخّاه الاتفاقية إزاء إنهاء المعاناة والخسائر البشرية التي تسببها الألغام المضادة للأفراد " لجميع الناس وإلى الأبد " ().

Decisions concerning destruction of anti-personnel mines in mined areas in accordance with article 5 of the Convention and facilitation and clarification of compliance in accordance with Article 8 of the Convention shall be made according to the provisions of those Articles.
تتخذ القرارات المتعلقة بتدمير الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة عملاً بالمادة 5 من الاتفاقية والقرارات المتعلقة بتيسير الامتثال وتوضيحه عملاً بالمادة 8 من الاتفاقية وفقاً لأحكام هاتين المادتين.

The Meeting assessed the request submitted by Chad for an extension of Chad's deadline for completing the destruction of anti-personnel mines in mined areas in accordance with article 5.1, agreeing unanimously to grant the request for an extension until 1 January 2011.

(iii) The Conference assessed the request submitted by Cambodia for an extension of Cambodia's deadline for the destruction of anti-personnel mines in mined areas in accordance with article 5.1, agreeing to grant the request for an extension until 1 January 2020.

(vii) The Conference assessed the request submitted by Tajikistan for an extension of Tajikistan's deadline for the destruction of anti-personnel mines in mined areas in accordance with article 5.1, agreeing to grant the request for an extension until 1 April 2020.
قيّم المؤتمر الطلب الذي قدمته طاجيكستان لتمديد الموعد النهائي المحدّد لها لإتمام تدمير الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة وفقاً للمادة 5-1، ووافق على الاستجابة لطلب التمديد إلى 1 نيسان/أبريل 2010.

(ii) Of the 45 States which, as of the close of the 7MSP, still had to clear mined areas in accordance with article 5, each provided transparency information covering the previous calendar year on this matter as required in 2007 with the exception of the following: Burundi, Cambodia, Guinea-Bissau, Malawi, Niger, Rwanda, Serbia and Uganda.
`2` ومن بين الدول ال45، التي كان يتعين عليها حتى ختام الاجتماع السابع لمؤتمر الأطراف تطهير المناطق الملغومة وفقاً للمادة 5، قدمت كل منها معلومات عن تدابير الشفافية وتغطي السنة السابقة بشأن هذه المسألة على النحو المطلوب في عام 2007، باستثناء الدول التالية: أوغندا وبوروندي ورواندا وصربيا وبنغلاديش وكمبوديا وملاوي والنيجر.
