31- وقد اتخذت تدابير التكيف في النظم الإيكولوجية الجبلية بعد مشاورات مع المجتمعات المحلية المتضررة، وخصوصاً في إطار تطوير نظم زراعية بديلة تلبي الاحتياجات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإيكولوجية.

176 - وسلم بأن البلدان الواطئة وغيرها من البلدان الجزرية الصغيرة والبلدان النامية ذات المناطق الساحلية المنخفضة والمناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة أو المناطق المعرضة للفيضانات والجفاف والتصحر، والبلدان النامية ذات النظم الإيكولوجية الجبلية الهشة معرضة بصفة خاصة للآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ.

Facilitate cooperative research and development of technology to slow down glacier melting in vulnerable mountainous ecosystems;
(ج) تسهيل الأعمال التعاونية في مجال بحوث التكنولوجيا وتطويرها لإبطاء ذوبان الصفائح الجليدية في النظم الإيكولوجية الجبلية المعرضة للتأثر بتغير المناخ؛
