The Commission was informed that the report on the monitoring of multilateral population assistance (E/CN.9/1994/6) had been prepared in response to a recommendation of the International Conference on Population held at Mexico City in 1984, in which the Secretary-General was requested to undertake the monitoring of multilateral population programmes of the United Nations system.
١١٧ - أحيطت اللجنة علما بأن التقرير عن رصد المساعدة السكانية المتعددة اﻷطراف (E/CN.9/1994/6) أعد استجابة لتوصية من المؤتمر الدولي المعني بالسكان المعقود في مكسيكو في عام ١٩٨٤، وطلب فيه الى اﻷمين العام أن يقوم برصد برامج اﻷمم المتحدة السكانية المتعددة اﻷطراف.
