In the same capacity, my delegation has the honour to express its solidarity with and condolences to the people and Government of the Republic of Chile and regrets the loss of lives as a result of the strong earthquake that affected southern Chile, causing hundreds of deaths, leaving thousands homeless and causing extremely serious material damage.
