As indicated in my latest report on the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) dated 24 June 2011 (S/2011/387), the influx into Liberia of Ivorian combatants and Liberian nationals who fought in Côte d'Ivoire constituted a major security threat that the Government and UNMIL are working to address.

As outlined in my latest report on UNFICYP (S/2004/427), I accordingly intend to conduct a review, to be completed within three months, of UNFICYP's mandate, force levels and concept of operations, in the light of the developments on the ground, the positions of the parties, and any views the Security Council might have.

29. In line with its mandate and in response to my recommendation for greater inter-institutional cooperation in my latest report on cross-border issues in West Africa, UNOWA was, in the reporting period, actively involved in facilitating linkages within the United Nations system in the subregion, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and its network of country offices in West Africa.

9. An incident of particular concern, reported on 22 November 2006 and mentioned in my latest report on the United Nations operations in Cyprus (S/2006/931), involved an attack by 1520 Greek Cypriot youths on a group of Turkish Cypriot students on the grounds of the English school, located on the Greek Cypriot side of Nicosia.
9- ووقع حادث مثير لبالغ القلق أبلغ عنه في 22 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006 وأشير إليه في تقريري الأخير بشأن عملية الأمم المتحدة في قبرص (S/2006/931) وهو اعتداء ما بين 15 و20 شاباً قبرصياً يونانياً على مجموعة من الطلبة القبارصة الأتراك في ساحة المدرسة الإنكليزية الواقعة في الجزء القبرصي اليوناني من نيقوسيا.

In my latest report to the Human Rights Council on the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism (A/HRC/22/26), I made practical recommendations to Member States on issues of due process and the right to a fair trial, building on the outcomes of three regional expert meetings organized by the Working Group on Protecting Human Rights while Countering Terrorism.
