19. As explained in my previous report to the Council (S/2006/817, para. 26), since the start of the Mission's mandate, both parties have imposed restrictions on the freedom of movement of MINURSO military observers.

2. In my previous report to the Council, I noted that, for further progress to be made, the parties must improve their level of cooperation with UNTAES and take positive steps to foster a constructive atmosphere (ibid., para. 16).

8. It should be noted that the killing on 11 September 1996 of an elderly couple of mixed marriage at Bukovica, Municipality of Gvozd, described in my previous report to the Council (S/1996/1011 and Corr.1, para. 6) was resolved by Croatian police authorities with the arrest of two individuals two weeks after the crime.
٨ - ومن الجدير بالذكر أن حادثة القتل التي وقعت في ١١ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦ ولقي فيها زوجان مسنان من أصلين مختلفين حتفهما في بوكوفيتشا التابعة لبلدية غفوزد، والتي ورد وصفها في تقريري السابق المقدم إلى المجلس )S/1996/1011 و Corr.1، الفقرة ٦(، قد توصلت سلطات الشرطة الكرواتية إلى حلها بإلقاء القبض على فردين بعد ارتكاب الجريمة بأسبوعين.

44. In my previous report to the Council (ibid., para. 36), I reiterated my very serious concern over the large volume of incomplete and/or non-compliant applications submitted to the Secretariat, and very much regretted the generally slow rate of responses from the suppliers to the requests for additional information, clarifications or corrections.
