El Salvador wishes to affirm its support for the work carried out by the United Nations through the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the United Nations International Drug Control Programme (UNDCP), as the principal instruments of the multilateral system for addressing the world drug problem in all its aspects.

٥ - تطلب الى لجنة المخدرات وبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات أن ينظرا في السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بتسهيل عملية تقديم الحكومات لتقارير عن تنفيذ برنامج العمل العالمي، على نحو يكفل رفع مستوى الاستجابات؛

٥ - تطلب أيضا إلى لجنة المخدرات وبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات أن ينظرا في السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بتسهيل عملية تقديم الحكومات لتقارير عن تنفيذ برنامج العمل العالمي، على نحو يكفل رفع مستوى الاستجابات؛

3. The General Assembly, in various resolutions since 1990, has called upon States to take all possible steps to promote and implement the mandates contained in the Global Programme of Action, and requested the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the United Nations International Drug Control Programme (UNDCP) to promote and continuously monitor the progress on its implementation.
٣ ـ وفي قرارات مختلفة صادرة منذ عام ٠٩٩١، طلبت الجمعية العامة من الدول، اتخاذ جميع الخطوات الممكنــة للنهوض بالمهام التي يتضمنها برنامج العمل العالمي وتنفيذها، كما طلبت من لجنة المخدرات وبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات )برنامج المراقبة الدولية( المساعدة في تنفيذ برنامج العمل ورصد التقدم المحرز في تنفيذه بشكل مستمر.
