In its resolution 56/128 of 19 December 2001, on traditional or customary practices affecting the health of women and girls, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report to it at its fifty-eighth session on the implementation of the resolution, including examples of national best practices and international cooperation.
1 - في القرار 56/128 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، والمتعلق بالممارسات التقليدية أو العرفية التي تؤثر على صحة المرأة والبنت، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام أن يوافيها في دورتها الثامنة والخمسين بتقرير عن تنفيذ ذلك القرار، يتضمن أمثلة على أفضل الممارسات الوطنية وعلى التعاون الدولي.

5. Encourages key child protection stakeholders in the United Nations system to continue their collaboration, including through promoting holistic, multi-partner and multisectoral responses to child protection issues, taking into account national best practices in different regions and countries;

The General Assembly, in its resolution 64/215, takes note of the broad diversity of national experiences in the area of legal empowerment of the poor, recognizes the initiatives undertaken by some countries in advancing the legal empowerment of the poor as an integral part of their national strategies and objectives, and stresses the importance of promoting the sharing of national best practices in this regard.
