It provides the comments of the Secretary-General on the report of the Joint Inspection Unit entitled " Review of the national competitive recruitment examination as a recruitment tool " , which examines the national competitive recruitment examination system at the examination and recruitment stages as well as its impact on the recruitment results of the Organization.

The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the members of the General Assembly the report of the Joint Inspection Unit entitled " Review of the national competitive recruitment examination as a recruitment tool " (JIU/REP/2007/9).
