The Committee recommends that the State party intensify the efforts to ensure the effective application of its legislation on gender equality and implementation of policy measures taken to achieve equality between men and women, including by reinforcing its awareness-raising campaigns on the elimination of negative cultural attitudes against women and girls.
توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تكثف جهودها لضمان التطبيق الفعلي لتشريعها المتعلق بالمساواة بين الجنسين وتنفيذ التدابير السياساتية المتخذة لتحقيق المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة، بما في ذلك تعزيز حملاتها للتوعية من أجل القضاء على المواقف الثقافية السلبية ضد المرأة والفتاة.

The Committee is also concerned that systematic barriers such as negative cultural attitudes, lack of quota systems, insufficient capacity building for potential candidates, limited financial resources and lack of logistical support impede the equal participation of women in political life.
ومما يثير قلق اللجنة كذلك وجود عراقيل ممنهجة مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية وعدم وجود نظام للحصص وقلة فرص بناء قدرات المرشحات المحتملات ومحدودية الموارد المالية وانعدام الدعم اللوجستي مما يحول دون مشاركة المرأة في الحياة السياسية على قدم المساواة مع الرجل.

(b) Address barriers to the education of all women and girls, such as negative cultural attitudes and excessive domestic duties, to take steps to reduce and prevent the dropout of girls and strengthen the implementation of re-entry policies enabling girls who drop out to return to school; and
(ب) معالجة مسألة العوائق التي تحول دون تعليم جميع النساء والفتيات، مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والواجبات المنزلية المفرطة، واتخاذ خطوات للحد من انقطاع الفتيات عن الدراسة ومنع حدوثه وتعزيز تنفيذ سياسات العودة إلى الدراسة التي تتيح للفتيات اللواتي انقطعن عنها العودة إلى المدرسة؛

(a) Address barriers to women's and girls' education, such as negative cultural attitudes, early marriage, excessive domestic duties, and take steps to retain girls in schools, as well as strengthen the implementation of re-entry policies enabling young women to return to school after pregnancy;
(أ) إزالة العقبات التي تحول دون تعليم المرأة والفتاة مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والزواج المبكر وإثقال كاهلها بالواجبات المنزلية، واتخاذ الخطوات الكفيلة باستبقاء الفتيات في المدارس، وكذلك بتعزيز تنفيذ سياسات الالتحاق مجدداً بالمدارس مما يمكّن النساء الشابات من العودة إلى المدارس بعد الحمل؛

It also notes with concern that systematic barriers, such as negative cultural attitudes, doubts about women's leadership capabilities, insufficient affirmative action in the form of quotas for women and capacity-building for potential candidates, limited financial resources and women's limited interest due to lack of logistical support, impede women's equal participation in political life.
وتلاحظ أيضاً مع القلق الحواجز المنهجية، مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والشكوك بشأن القدرات القيادية للمرأة، وعدم كفاية العمل الإيجابي في شكل حصص للمرأة وبناء القدرات للمرشحات المحتملات، ومحدودية الموارد المالية، ومحدودية اهتمام المرأة بسبب الافتقار إلى الدعم اللوجستي، وعرقلة مشاركة المرأة على قدم المساواة في الحياة السياسية.

It also notes with concern that systematic barriers continue to impede women's equal participation in political life, such as negative cultural attitudes, doubts about women's leadership capabilities, lack of temporary special measures in the form of quotas for women and lack of capacity-building of potential candidates, limited financial resources, and lack of logistical support for women candidates.
وتشير أيضاً بقلق إلى استمرار وجود عوائق منهجية تعرقل مشاركة المرأة في الحياة السياسية على قدم المساواة مع الرجل، من مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والشكوك القائمة بشأن القدرات القيادية للمرأة، وعدم اتخاذ تدابير خاصة مؤقتة في شكل حصص تخصص للمرأة، وقلة بناء قدرات المرشحات المحتملات، ومحدودية الموارد المالية، وعدم وجود دعم لوجستي للمرشحات.

(a) Address and eliminate barriers to the access of girls and women to education, such as negative cultural attitudes about gender roles; reduce and prevent dropout from education among girls; and strengthen the implementation of re-entry policies, enabling girls who have dropped out to return to school;
(أ) التصدي للحواجز، من قبيل المواقف الثقافية السلبية إزاء أدوار الجنسين، التي تحول دون حصول الفتيات والنساء على التعليم وإزالتها؛ والحدّ من التوقف عن الدراسة بين الفتيات وتفاديه؛ وتعزيز تنفيذ سياسات إعادة الالتحاق التي تمكّن الفتيات اللواتي توقفن عن الدراسة من العودة إلى المدرسة؛

(b) To address barriers to the education of women and girls, such as negative cultural attitudes and excessive domestic duties, to take steps to reduce and prevent dropouts among girls and to strengthen the implementation of reentry policies enabling girls who drop out to return to school;
(ب) تذليل العقبات أمام تعليم النساء والفتيات، مثل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والواجبات المنزلية المفرطة، بغية اتخاذ خطوات لخفض تسرب الفتيات من المدارس ومنعه وتعزيز عملية تنفيذ سياسات إعادة التحاق الفتيات بالمدارس لتمكين الفتيات من العودة إلى المدرسة؛

(أ) التصدي للحواجز التي تعوق تعليم النساء والفتيات، من قبيل المواقف الثقافية السلبية والواجبات المنزلية المفرطة، واتخاذ تدابير لخفض التسرب بين الفتيات ومنعه، وتعزيز تنفيذ سياسات إعادة الالتحاق التي تمكن المتسربات من العودة إلى الدراسة؛

42. In response to the Committee's concern regarding the persistence of strong patriarchal attitudes and deep-rooted stereotypes, it should be noted that consistent efforts have been made to reverse and eliminate the persistence of gender stereotyping, negative cultural attitudes and other practices which discriminate against women.
42 - فيما يتعلق بما أعربت عنه اللجنة من قلق إزاء استمرار الأفكار النمطية عن السلطة الأبوية وغيرها من أنواع التفكير النمطي العميق الجذور، يلاحَظ أنه تُبذل جهود مثابِرة لتغيير الأفكار النمطية الراسخة عن دور الجنسين، والعمل على إزالتها، وكذلك المواقف الثقافية السلبية وغير ذلك من الممارسات التي تميِّز ضد المرأة.
