The annex to the report of the Secretary-General provided information on the evolution of the annual net compensation of the three officials, as compared with that of senior officials of the Secretariat at Headquarters, since 2004.

6. Further decides that the annual net compensation of the Vice-Chair of the International Civil Service Commission shall be set at 214,833 dollars, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2011, and that the pensionable remuneration shall be adjusted accordingly to 264,320 dollars;

Therefore, in order to maintain the salary relativity of 97 per cent referred to in paragraph 3 above, the Secretary-General would propose to apply a 6.3 per cent increase to the net compensation of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of ICSC and the Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, effective 1 January 2003.
