HUMANITARIAN FINANCING GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK Since the end of the so-called Cold War, there has been a notable increase in humanitarian financing and in disaster and emergency relief actors; the number of NGOs in this field is estimated to have grown more than ten-fold.

In addition to developing national mechanism to achieve gender equality and better protection of women's rights, the State has also created favorable conditions for the activities of NGOs in this sphere; there are nearly 90 NGOs dealing with women's problems and gender equality in the country.

In this regard, the Committee welcomes the cooperation with the United Nations human rights field presence in the country and the training and educational activities on human rights provided by international organizations to law enforcement personnel, as well as the positive role played by NGOs in this regard.
