1. Information received from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) indicated that three Non-Self-Governing Territories have the status of Associate Members to UNESCO, namely the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Tokelau.

Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 3 (a) of the terms of reference and rules of procedure of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), as adopted by the Economic and Social Council,1 several Non-Self-Governing Territories have been accepted as associate members of ECLAC.
