I commend the African Union for its work on the enhancement of security cooperation and the operationalization of the African Peace and Security Architecture in the Sahel region, through the Nouakchott Process, launched in March 2013.
وأثني كذلك على الاتحاد الأفريقي لما يضطلع به من أعمال في سبيل تعزيز التعاون الأمني وتفعيل منظومة السلم والأمن الأفريقية في منطقة الساحل من خلال عملية نواكشوط التي أعلن عن انطلاقها في آذار/مارس 2013.

3. The summit was convened in pursuance of the recommendations of the third ministerial meeting of the countries in the region, held in Niamey on 19 February 2014, and the conclusions of the different meetings organized since the launching of the Nouakchott Process in March 2013.
