بيد أني أود التذكير بالفقرة 16 من مقرر الجمعية العامة 34/401، التي ينبغي بموجبها أن تصبح ممارسة الاستغناء عن إجراء اقتراع سري في انتخابات الأجهزة الفرعية هي القاعدة، عندما يكون عدد المرشحين مساويا لعدد المقاعد المراد ملؤها، إلا إذا طلب وفد على وجه التحديد التصويت في انتخاب معين.
