1- يقوم الرئيس، بالإضافة إلى ممارسة الصلاحيات المنوطة به في مواضع أخرى من هذا النظام الداخلي، بإعلان افتتاح ورفع كل جلسة من جلسات مجلس الإدارة، وبإدارة المناقشة، وبضمان مراعاة أحكام هذا النظام الداخلي، وبإعطاء الحق في الكلام، وبطرح المسائل للتصويت وبإعلان القرارات.

1- إضافة إلى ما يمارسه الرئيس من سلطات منوطة به بموجب الاتفاقية وفي مواضع أخرى من هذا النظام الداخلي، فهو يعلن افتتاح واختتام كل جلسة من جلسات اللجنة، ويتولى إدارة المناقشة، ويكفل مراعاة أحكام هذا النظام الداخلي، ويعطي الحق في الكلام، ويطرح المسائل للتصويت، ويعلن القرارات.

Rule 33 1. In addition to exercising the powers conferred upon the Chairperson by the Convention and elsewhere by these rules, the Chairperson shall declare the opening and closing of each session of the Committee, direct the discussion, ensure observance of these rules, and accord the right to speak, put questions to the vote and announce decisions.
1- إضافة إلى ما يمارسه الرئيس من سلطات منوطة به بموجب الاتفاقية وفي مواضع أخرى من هذا النظام الداخلي، فهو يعلن افتتاح واختتام كل جلسة من جلسات اللجنة، ويتولى إدارة المناقشة، ويكفل مراعاة أحكام هذا النظام الداخلي، ويعطي الحق في الكلام، ويطرح المسائل للتصويت، ويعلن القرارات.

In addition to exercising the powers conferred upon him or her elsewhere by these rules, the President shall preside at the plenary meetings of the Conference, declare the opening and closing of each meeting, direct the discussions, ensure observance of these rules, accord the right to speak, put questions to the Conference for decision and announce such decisions.
1 - يتولَّى الرئيس، إضافة إلى ممارسة السلطات المخوَّلة إليه في مواضع أخرى من هذا النظام الداخلي، رئاسة جلسات المؤتمر العامة، وإعلان افتتاح كل جلسة واختتامها، وإدارة المناقشات، وضمان مراعاة أحكام هذا النظام الداخلي، وإعطاء حق التكلُّم، وطرح المسائل أمام المؤتمر لاتخاذ قرارات بشأنها وإعلان تلك القرارات.

Ensure the observance of these rules;
(ج) كفالة مراعاة هذا النظام الداخلي؛

2. In accordance with these Rules, the Chairperson shall ensure the orderly conduct of the proceedings of the SPT, including observance of these rules.
2- وفقاً لهذا النظام الداخلي، يكفل الرئيس تصريف أعمال اللجنة الفرعية بشكل منظم يشمل مراعاة النظام الداخلي.
