The rights and obligations of attorneys are defined in the 27 December 1996 law on the legal profession and the 25 December 1998 law on the guarantees of the legal practice and social protection of attorneys, as well as the Code of Civil Procedure, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Code of Administrative Liability.
