SBSTA 38 invited Parties and admitted observer organizations to submit their views on the current state of scientific knowledge on how to enhance the adaptation of agriculture to climate change impacts while promoting rural development, sustainable development and productivity of agricultural systems and food security in all countries, particularly in developing countries.
51- ودعت الهيئة الفرعية، في دورتها الثامنة والثلاثين، الأطراف والمنظمات المعتمدة بصفة مراقب إلى أن تقدّم آراءها بشأن الحالة الراهنة للمعارف العلمية المتعلقة بكيفية تدعيم تكيف الزراعة مع آثار تغير المناخ مع الحرص في الآن ذاته على تعزيز التنمية الريفية والتنمية المستدامة وإنتاجية النظم الزراعية والأمن الغذائي في جميع البلدان، ولا سيما في البلدان النامية.

Successful examples were presented, such as: (a) the sustainability and stewardship programmes; (b) research in the area of agricultural systems and sustainability; (c) programmes aimed at strengthening urban-rural linkages; and (d) national-level sustainable development work with key stakeholders, such as farmers, forest managers, non-governmental organizations and local Governments.
