وإذ تلاحظ التأييد المعرب عنه، في مؤتمر نزع السلاح وفي الجمعية العامة، ﻹعداد اتفاقية دولية لاعطاء الدول غير الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية ضمانات ضد استعمال اﻷسلحة النووية أو التهديد باستعمالها، وبالجهود المتعددة اﻷطراف المبذولة في مؤتمر نزع السلاح للتوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن مثل هذه الاتفاقية الدولية في موعد مبكر،
