The Committee is further concerned about the lack of programmes addressing the particular needs of asylum-seeking and refugee children that have been involved in armed conflicts in neighbouring countries.

142- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تولي الاهتمام لضعف حال الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين والمهاجرين في إيطاليا الذين ربما يكونون قد تضرروا من نـزاع مسلح، من خلال تعزيز جهودها الرامية إلى:

In several countries, including in Eastern Europe, there were particular challenges addressing the situation of asylum-seeking unaccompanied and separated children, especially as regards legal guardianship to ensure access to asylum procedures, disappearances during asylum processing and availability of detailed data.

68. The Committee welcomes the withdrawal of the declaration made by the State party on article 22 of the Convention and notes the hosting by the State party of thousands of asylum-seeking children and refugee children from many countries.
68- ترحب اللجنة بسحب الدولة الطرف الإعلان الذي أصدرته بشأن المادة 22 من الاتفاقية وتلاحظ أن الدولة الطرف قد استضافت آلاف الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء والأطفال اللاجئين من بلدان كثيرة.

(c) Limited admission of asylum-seeking children into education;

Furthermore, it recommends that the State party, taking into account article 22 and other relevant provisions of the Convention, take all feasible measures to ensure full protection and care, as well as access to health, social services and education, of asylum-seeking and refugee children in the State party.

67. The Committee urges the State party to take urgent and necessary measures to adequately address the situation of asylum-seeking children and, in doing so, take every necessary measure:

The Committee also notes the programme initiated by the State party in cooperation with Frontex, on screening and briefing, aimed at the determination of age and nationality of asylum-seeking and refugee children.
كما تلاحظ اللجنة البرنامج الذي بدأته الدولة الطرف بالتعاون مع فرونتيكس، والذي يتعلق بالفرز والإبلاغ ويرمي إلى تحديد عمر وجنسية الأطفال طالبي اللجوء واللاجئين.

Q.10. 10. فيما يتعلق يما يتعلق بالحماية القانونية للأطفال طالبي اللجوء واللاجئين والمهاجرين، بمن فيهم أولئك المجندون أو المستخدمون في أعمال قتالية خلافاً لأحكام البروتوكول الاختياري، يرجى إبلاغ اللجنة ما إذا كانت قطر تنظر في أن تصبح طرفاً في الاتفاقية الخاصة بوضع اللاجئين لعام 1951 وبروتوكولها لعام 1967.
