Subsequently, it was clarified that, in implementing that decision, the relevant parts of chapter I of the report of the Economic and Social Council that related to agenda items allocated to the Main Committees would be considered by the Committee concerned, for final action by the Assembly (see A/59/250/Add.1, para. 4).

The Committee took note of paragraph 60 and decided to recommend that the General Assembly, when considering item 43 in its entirety in plenary meeting, should take note of the clarification that, in implementing resolution 58/316, the relevant parts of chapter I of the report of the Economic and Social Council would be considered by the Main Committees concerned, under agenda items already allocated to them, for final action by the Assembly.
64 - أحاط المكتب علما بالفقرة 60 وقرر أن يوصي الجمعية العامة بأن تحيط علما، لدى نظرها في البند 43 بكليته في جلسة عامة، بالإيضاح الذي يفيد بأنه، لدى تنفيذ القرار 58/316، فإن الأجزاء ذات الصلة من الفصل الأول من تقرير المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ستنظر فيها اللجان الرئيسية المعنية، في إطار بنود من بنود جدول الأعمال سبق أن وُزِّعَت عليها، لغرض البت النهائي فيها من قبل الجمعية.
