(f) To prohibit any form of violence or threats of violence against children by staff of places of detention in order to force children to engage in activities against their will;
(و) حظر أيِّ شكل من أشكال العنف أو التهديد باستخدام العنف ضد الأطفال من جانب الموظفين العاملين في أماكن الاحتجاز بغية إجبار الأطفال على الدخول كُرْهاً في أنشطة معينة؛

(f) To prohibit any form of violence or threats of violence against children by staff of places of detention in order to force children to engage in activities against their will;

While it welcomed the establishment of an Ombudsman and an independent prisoners' and detainees' commission to monitor places of detention in order to prevent torture and ill-treatment, it urged the Bahraini Government to reinstate the Special Rapporteur's country visit and enhance its cooperation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).

(22) The State party is invited to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention as soon as possible and to establish a national mechanism responsible for conducting periodic visits in all places of detention in order to prevent torture or any other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.
(22) وتدعو اللجنة الدولة الطرف إلى أن تصدّق في أقرب وقت ممكن على البروتوكول الاختياري الملحق بالاتفاقية وإلى إنشاء آلية وطنية مكلفة بالقيام بزيارات دورية إلى جميع أماكن الاحتجاز من أجل منع التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

The Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (OPCAT) provides that the National Preventive Mechanism (NPM) shall visit places of detention in order to prevent torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (torture and ill-treatment).
