The definition of dominant position of market power is based on the concept of the relevant market, which is the market of reasonably substitutable goods or services, i.e. " the area of effective competition " (United States Supreme Court).
ويستند تعريف مركز القوة السوقية المهيمن الى مفهوم السوق ذات الصلة، وهي سوق السلع أو الخدمات التي يمكن استبدالها على نحو معقول، أي " منطقة المنافسة الفعلية " )المحكمة العليا في الولايات المتحدة(.
