The guideline on environmentally sound testing, refurbishment and repair of used computing equipment, and the guideline on environmentally sound material recovery and recycling of end-of-life computing equipment, were field-tested to take into account the practical experiences of companies that had agreed to evaluate these two sets of guidelines and to provide recommendations for revisions.
3 - وقد اُختبرت ميدانياً المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن عمليات الفحص، وإعادة التجديد، والإصلاح السليمة بيئياً للمعدات الحاسوبية المستعملة، المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن عمليات استعادة المواد، وإعادة التدوير السليمة بيئياً للمعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة بغية أن تُؤخذ في الاعتبار الخبرات العملية للشركات التي وافقت على تقييم هاتين مجموعتين من المبادئ التوجيهية، وتقديم التوصيات لإجراء التنقيحات.

To initiate additional e-waste surveys and pilot projects on the collection and management of end-of-life computing equipment from the informal sector in developing countries and countries with economies in transition;
(أ) الشروع في إجراء دراسات استقصائية إضافية للنفايات الإلكترونية والمشاريع التجريبية بشأن جمع وإدارة المعدات الحاسوبية المنتهية صلاحيتها من القطاع غير الرسمي في البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال؛

5.2.1.2 Parties and signatories to the Convention are encouraged to implement policies and/or programmes that promote environmentally and economically sound material recovery and recycling of end-of-life computing equipment.
5-2-1-2 يشجَّع الأطراف في الاتفاقية والموقعين عليها على تنفيذ سياسات و/أو برامج تعزز استرداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدوير تلك المعدات بطريقة سليمة بيئياً واقتصادياً.

5.2.4.1 The material recovery and recycling phase of end-of-life computing equipment should be taken into account by manufacturers during product design by considering the issues of increased recyclability and reduced toxicity.
5-2-4-1 ينبغي أن يضع الصانعون في اعتبارهم خلال تصميم المنتجات مرحلة استرداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدويرها، عن طريق النظر في مسائل زيادة إمكانية إعادة التدوير وخفض السميَّة.

5.2.4.1 The material recovery and recycling phase of end-of-life computing equipment should be taken into account by manufacturers during product design by considering the issues of toxicity and recyclability.
5-2-4-1 ينبغي أن يضع الصانعون في اعتبارهم خلال تصميم المنتجات مرحلة استرداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدويرها، عن طريق النظر في مسائل السُّميّة وإعادة التدوير.

Part 11 provides recommendations to national authorities regarding programmes and policies that may be implemented to ensure environmentally sound and economically efficient material recovery and recycling of end-of-life computing equipment.
(ز) ويقدم الجزء 11 توصيات للسلطات الوطنية بشأن البرامج والسياسات التي يمكن تنفيذها لضمان استرداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدوير تلك المواد بطريقة سليمة بيئياً وكفؤة اقتصادياً.

(ز) ويقدم الجزء 11 توصيات للسلطات الوطنية بشأن البرامج والسياسات التي يمكن تنفيذها لضمان استرداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدوير تلك المواد بطريقة سليمة بيئياً وكفؤة اقتصادياً.

Such recycling facilities should take into consideration chapter 5 of this guidance document, the PACE guideline on material recovery and recycling of end-of-life computing equipment and the International Labour Organization Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems.
وينبغي أن تضع مرافق إعادة تدوير هذه في اعتبارها الفصل 5 من هذه الوثيقة التوجيهية، والمبدأ التوجيهي لشراكة المعدات الحاسوبية المتعلق باسترداد المواد من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة وإعادة تدوير تلك المعدات، والمبادئ التوجيهية لمنظمة العمل الدولية بشأن نظم الإدارة في مجالي السلامة والصحة المهنيتين. 5.1.3 In theory, every part of end-of-life computing equipment can find continued beneficial use through value chain management environmentally sound management of used computing equipment (appendix 11), from direct reuse as a complete computer to a part of a slag-construction aggregate.
5-1-3 ونظرياً، يمكن أن يوجد لكل جزء من المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة استخدم مفيد مستمر من خلال الإدارة السليمة بيئياً سلسلة القيمة (التذييل 11)، ابتداء من إعادة الاستخدام المباشرة كحاسوب كامل ووصولاً إلى الاستخدام كجزء من ركام من خَبَث المعادن مخصص للبناء.

(ب) تيسير تنفيذ المشاريع النموذجية لجمع، وإدارة المعدات الحاسوبية المستعملة، والمعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة في القطاع غير الرسمي لدى البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال؛

The guidelines on environmentally sound testing, refurbishment and repair of used computing equipment and on environmentally sound material recovery and recycling of end-of-life computing equipment have been evaluated and revised to take into account practical experience.
7 - وقد أجري تقييم للمبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة باختبار المعدات الحاسوبية المستعملة وتجديدها وإصلاحها بطريقة سليمة بيئياً، وتم تنقيحها بناء على التجربة العملية.
