21. The nature and level of energy activities linked to sustainable development by entities within the United Nations system vary widely.
١٢ - ويتنوع إلى حد كبير طابع ومستوى أنشطة الطاقة المرتبطة بالتنمية المستدامة والتي تضطلع بها كيانات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

In that context, the Committee recommended, inter alia, that the Division for Sustainable Development of the Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development of the United Nations Secretariat and UNDP be strengthened to improve the coordination of energy activities within the United Nations system at the planning and implementation stage.
