4. In its resolution, the Commission urged the international community to give the necessary support to developing countries, upon their request, in their efforts to implement the provisions of existing international and regional instruments governing the transboundary movement and dumping of toxic and dangerous products and wastes in order to protect and promote the human rights to life and good health of all.
٤- وحثت اللجنة، في قرارها، المجتمع الدولي على أن يقدم الى البلدان النامية، بناء على طلبها، ما يلزم من دعم لجهودها الرامية الى تنفيذ أحكام الصكوك الدولية واﻹقليمية القائمة والناظمة لنقل المنتجات والنفايات السمية والخطرة عبر الحدود وإلقائها، بغية حماية وتعزيز حق الجميع في الحياة والصحة الجيدة.

6. ٦- تحث المجتمع الدولي على أن يقدم الى البلدان النامية، بناء على طلبها، ما يلزم من دعم لجهودها الرامية الى تنفيذ أحكام الصكوك الدولية واﻹقليمية القائمة الناظمة لنقل المنتجات والنفايات السمية والخطرة عبر الحدود وإلقائها، بغية حماية وتعزيز حق الجميع في الحياة والصحة الجيدة؛

For example, the programme for the further implementation of Agenda 21 (A/S-19/29, annex) identified the urgent need for all Governments to strengthen the implementation of existing international and regional agreements on marine pollution, in particular to improve contingency planning, response, and liability and compensation mechanisms.
وعلى سبيل المثال، حدد برنامج مواصلة تنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن ٢١ )A/S-19/29، المرفق( الحاجة الملحة ﻷن تقوم جميع الحكومات بتعزيز تنفيذ الاتفاقات الدولية واﻹقليمية القائمة بشأن التلوث البحري، وبخاصة تحسين التخطيط والاستجابة في حالات الطوارئ، وآليات المسؤولية والتعويض.

321. It may be noted that, in the programme for the further implementation of Agenda 21, the General Assembly stated that it was necessary to strengthen the implementation of existing international and regional agreements of marine pollution, with a view in particular to ensuring better contingency planning and response (A/S-19/29, annex, para. 36(b)).
٣٢١ - وتجدر اﻹشارة إلى أن الجمعية العامة ذكرت، في برنامج مواصلة تنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن ٢١، أنه من الضروري تعزيز تنفيذ الاتفاقات الدولية واﻹقليمية القائمة المتعلقة بالتلوث البحري، بغية ضمان تحسين التخطيط والاستجابة في حالات الطوارئ A/S-19/29)، المرفق، الفقرة ٣٦ )ب((.

2. The Forum noted that many of the IPF proposals for action are directed towards international organizations and instruments, and that there is significant unrealized potential for further strengthening and mobilizing the capacity of existing international and regional organizations and instruments to support and promote the goal of management, conservation and sustainable development of all types of forests.
٢ - ولاحظ المنتدى أن كثيرا من مقترحات العمل التي اعتمدها الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بالغابات موجﱠهة نحو المنظمات والصكوك الدولية، وأن هناك إمكانيات هامة غير متحققة من أجل زيادة تعزيز واستنفار طاقات المنظمات الدولية واﻹقليمية القائمة والصكوك القانونية الحالية لدعم وتعزيز هدف إدارة وحفظ جميع أنواع الغابات وتنميتها تنمية مستدامة.
