Pursuant to article 6 of the Act, the marriage of a Ukrainian citizen with a person of foreign nationality or with a stateless person, or the dissolution of such a marriage, has no effect on his or her citizenship.

Please indicate if the State party's legislation is in line with the provisions of the Convention regarding equality of women with men in the acquisition, change and retention of nationality, particularly with respect to provisions on women passing their nationality to their spouses of foreign nationality.
12 - يرجى بيان ما إذا كان تشريع الدولة الطرف متوافقاً مع أحكام الاتفاقية المتعلقة بالمساواة بين المرأة والرجل في نيل الجنسية وتغييرها والاحتفاظ بها، ولا سيما فيما يخص الأحكام المتعلقة بمدى قدرة المرأة على منح جنسيتها إلى زوجها الذي يحمل جنسية أجنبية.

32. The Committee recommends that the State party urgently finalize the reform of the legislation on nationality of children and ensures that no discrimination exists against children born of a Malagasy mother and a father of foreign nationality or children born out of wedlock.
