6. Indonesia has actively joined and become part of the core group of several initiatives in the Council, including on the issues of freedom of peaceful assembly and association, enhancement of technical cooperation and capacity-building in the field of human rights, equal political participation and the negative impact of corruption on the enjoyment of human rights.
