Recognizing the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives,
وإذ تسلم بأهمية السعادة والرفاه بوصفهما هدفين ومطمحين لشعوب العالم أجمع، وبأهمية الاعتراف بهما في الأهداف التي يتم تحديدها في إطار السياسة العامة،

ثالثا - جوانب السعادة والرفاه ومقاييسهما

Consequently, the Assembly invited Member States to pursue the elaboration of additional measures that better captured the importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development, with a view to guiding their public policies.
وبناء على ذلك، دعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء إلى العمل إلى وضع تدابير إضافية تجسد على نحو أفضل أهمية السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه في سياق التنمية، ليستعان بها في توجيه سياساتها العامة.

1. Invites Member States to pursue the elaboration of additional measures that better capture the importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development with a view to guiding their public policies;
1 - تدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى العمل على وضع تدابير إضافية تجسد على نحو أفضل أهمية السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه في سياق التنمية، ليستعان بها في توجيه سياساتها العامة؛

Encouraged by this interest and in order to jumpstart the process of discussion on happiness at the United Nations, my Government has offered to convene a panel discussion on the theme of happiness and well-being at the next session of the General Assembly.
وبفضل التشجيع الذي نستمده من هذا الاهتمام، ومن أجل بدء عملية مناقشة السعادة في الأمم المتحدة، فقد عرضت حكومة بلدي عقد حلقة نقاش بشأن السعادة والرفاه في الدورة القادمة للجمعية العامة.

4. Invites the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States and relevant regional and international organizations on the pursuit of happiness and well-being and to communicate such views to the General Assembly at its sixtyseventh session for further consideration.
4 - تدعو الأمين العام إلى أن يستطلع آراء الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الإقليمية والدولية المعنية بشأن السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه وأن يوافي الجمعية العامة بتلك الآراء في دورتها السابعة والستين للنظر فيها بمزيد من التفصيل.

Recalling its resolution 65/309 of 19 July 2011, which invites Member States to pursue the elaboration of additional measures that better capture the importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development with a view to guiding their public policies,
إذ تشير إلى قرارها 65/309 المؤرخ 19 تموز/يوليه 2011 الذي تدعى فيه الدول الأعضاء إلى العمل على وضع تدابير إضافية تجسد على نحو أفضل أهمية السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه في سياق التنمية، ليستعان بها في توجيه سياساتها العامة،

2. The General Assembly also invited the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States and relevant regional and international organizations on the pursuit of happiness and well-being, and to communicate such views to the Assembly at its sixty-seventh session.
2 - ودعت الجمعية العامة الأمين العام إلى أن يستطلع آراء الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الإقليمية والدولية المعنية بشأن السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه وأن يوافي الجمعية العامة بتلك الآراء في دورتها السابعة والستين.

At the same sixty-fifth session, the General Assembly invited Member States to pursue the elaboration of additional measures that better capture the importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development with a view to guiding their public policies and welcomed the offer of Bhutan to convene a panel discussion on the theme of happiness and well-being during its sixty-sixth session (resolution 65/309).
وفي الدورة نفسها، دعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء إلى العمل على وضع مقاييس إضافية تجسد على نحو أفضل أهمية السعي إلى تحقيق السعادة والرفاه في التنمية، ليستعان بها في توجيه سياساتها العامة، ورحبت بالعرض الذي قدمته بوتان بعقد حلقة نقاش خلال دورتها السادسة والستين عن موضوع السعادة والرفاه (القرار 65/309).
