In this regard, some delegations drew attention to the work of multilateral environmental agreements on the conservation of marine biodiversity in the high seas, such as the work governed by the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
