40. The Committee recommends that the State party adopt effective measures, including amendments to article 68 of the Population Act, to ensure that Civil Registry officials and other relevant authorities register all births of children of migrant workers in the State party on an entirely non-discriminatory basis, regardless of those workers' migration status.
40- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف باعتماد تدابير فعالة، بما في ذلك إدخال تعديلات على المادة 68 من قانون السكان لضمان أن يقوم موظفو الأحوال المدنية والسلطات المعنية الأخرى بتسجيل جميع ولادات أطفال العمال المهاجرين في الدولة الطرف على أساس غير تمييزي تماماً بصرف النظر عن وضع هؤلاء العمال كمهاجرين.

961. While noting the high number of migrant workers in the State party, and particularly the estimated number of undocumented workers and the weak protection against exploitation and abuse provided to them, the Committee is concerned at the situation and vulnerability of their children residing in Jordan.
961- إذ تلاحظ اللجنة ارتفاع عدد العمال المهاجرين في الدولة الطرف، وخاصة عدد العمال غير الحائزين وثائق رسمية وضعف حمايتهم من الاستغلال ومن الاعتداء، فإنها تشعر بالقلق من هذا الوضع ومن المخاطر التي يتعرض لها الأطفال المقيمون في الأردن.
