My Deputy Special Representative has recently met with the Commander of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces in the southern zone, Major-General Abdelaziz Bennani, who assured him of Morocco's preparedness to implement fully the provisions of the settlement plan relating to the reduction of Moroccan troops in the Territory, once D-Day and the start of the transitional period have been determined.
