Concerning promotion of participation of persons with disabilities, activity has focused on organizing cultural events through disabled persons' associations, cantonal sport committees, and in some cases facilitating transport of persons with disabilities to participate in Golden Games and Special Olympics.
185- وفيما يتعلق بتشجيع مشاركة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، تركزت الأنشطة على تنظيم لقاءات ثقافية من خلال جمعيات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، واللجان الرياضية للكانتونات، وتيسير نقل الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في بعض الحالات للمشاركة في الألعاب الذهبية والألعاب الأولمبية الخاصة.

Article 33, paragraph 3 requires that civil society and in particular persons with disabilities and their respective organizations shall be involved and participate fully in the monitoring process, in line with the principle of participation of persons with disabilities that permeates the treaty.
