By paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same decision, the Conference of the Parties adopted the process for the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A and committed itself to undertaking the evaluation and review at its eighth meeting and every second ordinary meeting thereafter.

In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A to the Convention, following the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties, further evaluations and reviews would be conducted in 2017 and every four years thereafter.

II. Evaluation of brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A, and evaluation of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride pursuant to paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention

Reminds any party with a need for the specific exemption for brominated diphenyl ethers listed in Annex A to the Convention to register for that exemption by means of a notification in writing to the Secretariat, in accordance with paragraph 1 (c) of parts IV and V of that Annex.

To request the Secretariat to continue to use the format revised at the Committee's seventh meeting to collect information from parties to enable the Conference of the Parties to evaluate brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A to the Convention at its sixth meeting;
(د) أن تطلب إلى الأمانة مواصلة استخدام النموذج المنقَّح في الاجتماع السابع للجنة() لجمع المعلومات من الأطراف لتمكين مؤتمر الأطراف من تقييم الإثيرات الثنائية الفينيل المبرومة عملاً بالفقرة 2 من الجزأين الرابع والخامس من المرفق ألف في الاتفاقية في اجتماعه السادس؛

The Secretariat has therefore prepared a national reporting format for brominated diphenyl ethers and PFOS, its salts and PFOSF which would also serve for the evaluations, pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A and paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention, as set out in document UNEP/POPS/POPRC.8/INF/24.

To provide advice on the draft process for the evaluation of brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A and for the evaluation of PFOS, its salts and PFOSF pursuant to paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention, set out in Annex I and II to the present note;

(f) Provide advice on the information collection forms and draft processes for evaluating brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A and for evaluating perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride, in accordance with paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention prepared by the Secretariat;
(و) أن تقدِّم المشورة بشأن ما تعدّه الأمانة من استمارات لجمع المعلومات وأن تقوم بصياغة عمليات لتقييم الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المبروَمة عملاً بالفقرة 2 من الجزأين الرابع والخامس في المرفق ألف ولتقييم حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني، وفقاً للفقرتين 5 و6 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء في الاتفاقية؛

Adopts the format for the submission of information for the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A to the Convention, as set out in the annex to the present decision, and decides to use it for the evaluation and review at its eighth meeting and at every second ordinary meeting thereafter, in accordance with the process set out in decision SC-6/3;
يعتمد استمارة تقديم المعلومات المطلوبة لتقييم واستعراض الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المتعددة البروم عملاً بالفقرة 2 من الجزأين الرابع والخامس من المرفق ألف للاتفاقية، الوارد في مرفق هذا المقرر()، ويقرر أن يستخدمها لأغراض التقييم والاستعراض في اجتماعه الثامن ثم في كل ثاني اجتماع عادي بعد ذلك، وفقاً للعملية المبينة في المقرر ا س -6/3؛

In response to the abovementioned request in decision SC-5/8, the Secretariat first prepared a draft process for the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of Annex A to the Stockholm Convention and a draft format for submission by parties of information to support the evaluation and review.
4 - استجابة للطلب المشار إليه أعلاه في المقرر ا س- 5/8، أعدت الأمانة أولاً مشروع عملية لتقييم واستعراض الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المتعددة البروم عملاً بالفقرة 2 من الجزئين الرابع والخامس من المرفق ألف من اتفاقية استكهولم، ومشروع استمارة تقدم فيها الأطراف المعلومات لدعم عمليتي التقييم والاستعراض.

Decides to evaluate the progress that parties have made towards achieving their ultimate objective of elimination of brominated diphenyl ethers listed in Annex A to the Convention and to review the continued need for the specific exemption for those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of that Annex at its seventh meeting and every second ordinary meeting thereafter;
3 - يقرر إجراء تقييم للتقدم الذي أحرزته الأطراف صوب تحقيق هدفها النهائي بالقضاء على الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المتعددة البروم المدرجة في المرفق ألف من الاتفاقية، وأن يستعرض استمرار الحاجة إلى إعفاءات محددة لتلك المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 2 من الجزئين الرابع والخامس من ذلك المرفق خلال اجتماعه الحادي عشر وكل اجتماع عادي ثان بعد ذلك؛

Adopts the process to enable the Conference of the Parties to evaluate the progress that parties have made towards achieving their ultimate objective of elimination of brominated diphenyl ethers listed in Annex A to the Convention and to review the continued need for the specific exemption for those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of that Annex , as set out in annex I to the present decision;
4 - يعتمد العملية التي تمكن مؤتمر الأطراف من تقييم التقدم الذي أحرزته الأطراف صوب تحقيق هدفها النهائي القضاء على الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المتعددة البروم المدرجة في المرفق ألف من الاتفاقية واستعراض استمرار الحاجة إلى إعفاءات محددة لتلك المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 2 من الجزئين الرابع والخامس من ذلك المرفق على النحو الوارد في المرفق الأول بهذا المقرر؛

Adopts the format for the submission of information for the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers listed in Annex A to the Convention pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of that Annex, as set out in annex II to the present decision, and requests the Secretariat to incorporate it in the format for reporting under Article 15 of the Convention;
5 - يعتمد الاستمارة الخاصة بتقديم المعلومات المتعلقة بتقييم واستعراض الإيثرات الثنائية الفينيل المتعددة البروم المدرجة في المرفق ألف من الاتفاقية عملاً بالفقرة 2 من الجزئين الرابع والخامس من ذلك المرفق على النحو الوارد في المرفق الثاني بهذا المقرر، ويطلب إلى الأمانة إدراجها في الاستمارة الخاصة بالإبلاغ بموجب المادة 15 من الاتفاقية؛

Takes notes of the information submitted by parties for the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers listed in Annex A to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants pursuant to paragraph 2 of parts IV and V of that Annex and on their experiences in implementing the recommendations on the elimination from the waste stream of brominated diphenyl ethers set out in the annex to decision POPRC-6/2
