74. The Rapporteur also presented charts that demonstrated the importance of including follow-up items in lists of issues that the Committee prepares prior to the review of periodic reports from State parties.

At its previous session, the Committee had entrusted two of its members (Mrs. Hoda Badran and Mr. Youri Kolosov) with the task of preparing a working paper on the conceptual framework for guidelines regarding the form and contents of periodic reports from States parties, to be submitted in the light of article 44 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
١٤٢- كلفت اللجنة في دورتها السابقة اثنين من أعضائها )هما السيدة هدى بدران والسيد يوري كولوسوف( بمهمة إعداد ورقة عمل عن اﻹطار المفاهيمي للمبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بشكل ومضمون التقارير الدورية المقدمة من الدول اﻷطراف، لتقديمها في ضوء المادة ٤٤ من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل.

266. At its previous session, the Committee had established a working group to prepare a draft document on guidelines regarding the form and contents of periodic reports from States parties to be submitted in the light of article 44 of the Convention (see CRC/C/50, paras. 241-245).
٦٦٢- في دورتها السابقة، أنشأت اللجنة فريقاً عاملاً ﻹعداد مشروع وثيقة لمبادئ توجيهية تتعلق بشكل ومضمون التقارير الدورية المقدمة من الدول اﻷطراف على ضوء المادة ٤٤ من الاتفاقية )انظر CRC/C/50، الفقرات ١٤٢-٥٤٢(.

The Committee draws to the attention of the Government of India the provisions of paragraph 6 (a) of the Guidelines Regarding the Form and Contents of periodic reports from States parties, and requests that, accordingly, its next periodic report, due on 31 December 2001, should contain material which responds to all the present concluding observations.
