Support for victims of prostitution is provided under the Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims and the Comprehensive Action Plan to Prevent Prostitution.

82. Notwithstanding the Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims, which allows child victims or witnesses under the age of sixteen to make a statement via video recording, the questioning and legal processes for child victims of sex offences remain inadequate as:

The Act on the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and Associated Acts and the Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims Thereof enacted on September 23rd, 2004, distinguished the female prostitute as a " victim " and stated that victims, by principle, are not to be punished, but protected.
إن قانون المعاقبة على القوادة لأغراض البغاء وما يتصل بذلك من أفعال، وقانون منع البغاء وحماية الضحايا اللذين وضعا في 23 أيلول/سبتمبر 2004 صنفا البغيّ بأنها " ضحية " وبينا أن الضحايا، مبدئيا، لا يجب أن يعاقبن ولكن يجب أن يحظين بالحماية.

(40) The Committee is deeply concerned that that the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of its Victims Act treats child victims of prostitution, among others, as offenders, although, according to the State party, it is " unlikely " that child victims of prostitution will be prosecuted.
40) تعرب اللجنة عن قلقها البالغ لأن قانون منع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه يعتبر الأطفال ضحايا البغاء، من بين آخرين، مجرمين حتى وإن كان، وفقاً للدولة الطرف، " من غير المرجح " مقاضاة الأطفال ضحايا البغاء.

61. With the legislation of the Act on the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and Associated Acts and the Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims in 2004, the government prepared a Comprehensive Action Plan to Prevent Prostitution which enables the 15 ministries of the government including the Ministry of Gender Equality to carry out the policies cooperatively.
61- بعد أن سن القانون المتعلق بالمعاقبة على القوادة وما يرتبط بها من أفعال والقانون المتعلق بمنع البغاء وحماية الضحايا في عام 2004، أعدت الحكومة خطة عمل شاملة لمنع البغاء تمكن وزارات الحكومة الخمس عشرة بما فيها وزارة المساواة بين الجنسين من تطبيق السياسات بصورة تعاونية.

67. The Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims mandates prevention education, the establishment of counseling facilities, and various ways to provide protective assistance including medical and legal services and rehabilitation for victims of prostitution.
67- يقتضي القانون المتعلق بمنع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه توفير ثقافة للحماية وإنشاء مرافق لإسداء النصح وشتى السبل لتوفير المساعدة الوقائية التي تشمل الخدمات الطبية والخدمات القانونية وإعادة التأهيل بالنسبة لضحايا البغاء.

(d) The Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of its Victims Act treats victims of prostitution, including children, as offenders, in contradiction to the Act on the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and Associated Acts, which specifically stipulates that victims of prostitution are not subject to punishment (article 6);
(د) أن قانون منع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه، يعامل ضحايا البغاء، بمن فيهم الأطفال، معاملة المجرمين بخلاف القانون المتعلق بمعاقبة القوادة لأغراض البغاء وما يرتبط بها من أفعال، الذي ينص تحديداً على أن ضحايـا البغاء لا يخضعون للعقاب (المادة 6)؛

18. The Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims Thereof (amended on March 21, 2008) mandates surveys every three years on prostitution at the domestic and international levels to provide basic data that helps establish the most effective policies.
18- إن القانون المتعلق بمنع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه (المعدل في 21 آذار/مارس 2008) يقضي بإجراء دراسات استقصائية مرة كل ثلاث سنوات تتعلق بالبغاء على المستويين المحلي والدولي لتوفير بيانات أساسية تساعد على وضع أكثر السياسات كفاءة.

To prevent violence against women and to ensure the further protection of their human rights, the Act on the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and Associated Acts and the Act on the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of Victims (2004), and the Comprehensive Action Plan to Prevent Prostitution (2004) were established.
37- ولمنع ممارسة العنف ضد النساء وكفالة تعزيز حماية حقوق الإنسان المتعلقة بهن، وضع قانون المعاقبة على القوادة لأغراض البغاء وما يتصل بذلك من أفعال، وقانون منع البغاء وحماية الضحايا (2004)، وخطة العمل الشاملة المتعلقة بمنع البغاء (2004).

(30) The Committee commends the State party on its efforts to strengthen the legal protection of children against the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, including, inter alia, the enactment of the Juvenile Protection Law Against Sexual Exploitation in 2000 and the Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of its Victims Act and the Punishment of Soliciting Prostitution Act in 2004.
30) تثني اللجنة على الدولة الطرف على ما تبذله من جهود لتعزيز الحماية القانونية للأطفال ضد بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية، ويشمل ذلك، جملة أمور من بينها، سن قانون حماية الأحداث من الاستغلال الجنسي الصادر في عام 2000، وقانون منع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه وقانون المعاقبة على التماس خدمات البغاء الصادرين في عام 2004.

(44) The Committee welcomes the efforts made by the State party to assist child victims of offences referred to in the Optional Protocol with rehabilitation measures, including those stipulated in the 2004 Prevention of Prostitution and Protection of its Victims Act and the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and Associated Acts, and the plans to establish additional centres for counselling for victims of prostitution.
44) ترحب اللجنة بالجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف لمساعدة الأطفال ضحايا الجرائم المشار إليها في البروتوكول الاختياري باتخاذ تدابير لإعادة تأهيلهم، بما في ذلك تلك المنصوص عليها في قانون منع البغاء وحماية ضحاياه الصادر في عام 2004، وقانون المعاقبة على القوادة لأغراض البغاء وما يرتبط بها من أفعال، والخطط الرامية إلى إنشاء مراكز إضافية لاستشارة محامين فيما يخص ضحايا البغاء.
