Israel should cease its policy of forcible transfer of protected persons and should refrain from collective punishment, including harsh closures and the demolition of Palestinian homes, actions which are in breach of Israel's international commitments.
وينبغي لإسرائيل أن تكف عن سياستها المتمثلة في النقل القسري للأشخاص المحميين وينبغي أن تحجم عن العقاب الجماعي، بما في ذلك أعمال الإغلاق القاسية وهدم المنازل الفلسطينية، وهي إجراءات تتناقض والتزامات إسرائيل الدولية.

It should be recalled that article 147 of the Fourth Geneva Convention defines grave breaches as, inter alia, the wilful killing and inhuman treatment of protected persons; wilfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health of protected persons; and extensive destruction of property, carried out unlawfully and wantonly.
وجدير بالذكر أن المادة 147 من اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة تعرّف الانتهاكات الجسيمة بأنها تتضمن، في جملة أمور، القتل العمد والمعاملة اللاإنسانية للأشخاص المحميين، وتعمُّد إحداث آلام شديدة أو الإضرار الخطير بالسلامة البدنية للأشخاص المحميين أو بصحتهم، والتدمير الواسع النطاق للممتلكات بطريقة غير مشروعة وتعسفية.
