27. In June 2002, UNHCR participated in the twenty-ninth session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers held in Khartoum, at which resolution 23/29-P on the problem of Refugees in the Muslim World, was adopted.

Approves the recommendations contained in the report and the annex of the 2nd Meeting of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on the Problem of Refugees in the Muslim World.
1 - يوافق على التوصيات الواردة في تقرير الاجتماع الثاني لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بمشكلة اللاجئين في العالم الإسلامي ومرفقاته.

Decides to convene a ministerial conference to discuss the issue of Refugees in the Muslim World during the 2nd half of 2005, the final date of which will be decided in consultation with the country willing to host the conference.
2 - يقرر عقد اجتماع وزاري لبحث قضايا اللاجئين في العالم الإسلامي خلال النصف الثاني من العام 2005، على أن يحدد التاريخ النهائي بالتشاور مع الدولة التي ستوافق على استضافة المؤتمر.

1. Welcomes the decision of the Government of Pakistan to host an OIC Ministerial Conference on the Problems of Refugees in the Muslim World in Islamabad on 27-29 November 2006, in close coordination with the UNHCR.
1 - يرحب بقرار الحكومة الباكستانية بالموافقة على استضافة عقد المؤتمر الوزاري لبحث قضايا اللاجئين في العالم الإسلامي خلال في الفترة من 27 إلى 29 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006 فـي إسـلام أباد، وذلك بالتنسيق مع المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين في جنيف.

Having considered the report of the Secretary General (Doc. No. OIC/ICFM-32/POL/SG-REP.8) and the report of the 2nd Meeting of Intergovernmental Group of Experts on the Problem of Refugees in the Muslim World which held its meeting in Jeddah on 9 and 10 April 2005.
