17. Mr. Naidu (Fiji) said, with reference to the question of funding, that the administering Powers should make specific commitments with respect to the participation of representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories in the work of various organs.

35. At its 9th meeting, on 27 June, the Special Committee considered the question of the participation of representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories in its work at Headquarters and decided that such participation should be facilitated in accordance with the guidelines amended by the Committee and approved by the General Assembly at its forty-eighth session.
٣٥ - نظرت اللجنة الخاصة، في الجلسة التاسعة المعقودة في 27 حزيران/يونيه، في مسألة مشاركة ممثلي الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي في أعمالها في المقر، وقررت أنه ينبغي تيسير هذه المشاركة وفقا للمبادئ التوجيهية التي عدلتها اللجنة ووافقت عليها الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة والأربعين.

11. The Special Committee decided to recommend that the participation of representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories in the work of the Committee at Headquarters should continue to be facilitated through the reimbursement by the United Nations of the expenses relating to their participation under the terms of the guidelines amended by the Committee and approved by the General Assembly at its forty-eighth session.
11 - قررت اللجنة الخاصة أن توصي بمواصلة تيسير مشاركة ممثلي الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي في أعمال اللجنة بالمقر، وذلك بأن تقوم الأمم المتحدة بسداد المصاريف المتصلة بمشاركتهم بموجب أحكام المبادئ التوجيهية التي عدَّلتها اللجنة ووافقت عليها الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة والأربعين.
