The draft resolution drew attention to the importance of the protection of rights of persons belonging to minorities for the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
ويوجه مشروع القرار النظر إلى أهمية حماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات من أجل منع النزاعات وحلها بالوسائل السلمية.

Emphasizing further the important role that national institutions can play in the promotion and protection of rights of persons belonging to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities as well as in early warning and awareness raising for problems regarding minority situations,

102. The Agency for Rights of Communities was established under the Law on the promotion and protection of rights of persons belonging to communities, which represent less than 20% of the population, adopted on 17 July 2008.
102- وأُنشئت وكالة حقوق المجتمعات المحلية بموجب قانون تعزيز وحماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى المجتمعات المحلية التي تُمثل 20 في المائة من السكان على الأقل، والذي اعتُمد في 17 تموز/يوليه 2008.

In the seventh preambular paragraph, the phrase " and the particular consequences for women human rights defenders and defenders of rights of persons belonging to minorities " should be replaced by " and the severe consequences for women human rights defenders and defenders of persons belonging to minorities " .
ففي الفقرة السابعة من الديباجة، يستعاض عن عبارة " والعواقب التي تمس المدافعات عن حقوق الإنسان خاصة والمدافعين عن حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى الأقليات " بعبارة " والعواقب الجسيمة التي تمس النساء المدافعات عن حقوق الإنسان والمدافعين عن حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى الأقليات " .

59- أما التوصيات الواردة في الفقرات 20(ب) و(ج) و32(أ) أعلاه (حماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات إثنية ودينية ولغوية، ومركز اللغة الروسية) فلم تؤيدها أوكرانيا.

Welcomes the inter-agency cooperation of United Nations agencies, funds and programmes on minority issues, led by the Office of the High Commissioner, and urges them to increase further their cooperation by, inter alia, developing policies on the promotion and protection of rights of persons belonging to minorities, drawing also on relevant outcomes of the meetings of the Forum;
12- يرحب بالتعاون بين وكالات الأمم المتحدة وصناديقها وبرامجها بشأن قضايا الأقليات، بقيادة المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان، ويحثها على مواصلة زيادة هذا التعاون بوسائل من بينها وضع سياسات لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات، والاستفادة كذلك من نتائج اجتماعات المنتدى؛

20. Requests the Secretary-General and the High Commissioner to continue to provide all the human, technical and financial assistance necessary for the effective fulfilment of the mandate of the Independent Expert and for the activities of the Office of the High Commissioner in the area of rights of persons belonging to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities;
20- يطلب إلى الأمين العام والمفوضة السامية مواصلة تقديم جميع المساعدات البشرية والتقنية والمالية اللازمة لتنفيذ ولاية الخبيرة المستقلة تنفيذاً فعالاً، ولأنشطة المفوضية في مجال حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات قومية أو إثنية وإلى أقليات دينية ولغوية؛

6. 10. 10- يطلب إلى الأمين العام والمفوضة السامية مواصلة تقديم جميع أنواع المساعدة البشرية والتقنية والمالية اللازمة من أجل التنفيذ الفعال لولاية الخبيرة المستقلة، ولأنشطة المفوضية في مجال حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات؛

The Committee reiterates its previous concluding observations (CCPR/C/BIH/CO/1, para. 24) that the State party should take necessary measures to give effect to the linguistic and education rights of the Roma as protected under the Law on the Protection of rights of persons belonging to National Minorities.
تكرر اللجنة تأكيد ملاحظاتها الختامية السابقة (CCPR/C/BIH/CO/1، الفقرة 24) بأنه ينبغي للدولة الطرف أن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لإنفاذ الحقوق اللغوية والتعليمية للروما بالصيغة التي يحميها بها قانون حماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية.
