1. Article 6 of the Regulations of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, as amended by the General Assembly in paragraph 4 of section VII of its resolution 55/224 of 23 December 2000, provides as follows:
1 - تنص المادة 6 من نظام المعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي الأمم المتحدة، بصيغتها المعدلة من الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 4 من الجزء السابع من قرارها 55/224 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، على ما يلي:

To develop general guidelines for panels, further to the adoption of section VII of its draft rules of procedure being applied;
(أ) وضع مبادئ توجيهية عامة للأفرقة، عقب اعتماد الفرع السابع من مشروع نظامه الداخلي المنطبق؛

4. Requests the Secretary-General to expeditiously finalize and issue new administrative instructions on the implementation of section VII, paragraph 8, of resolution 55/258;
4 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقوم على سبيل الاستعجال بوضع الصيغة النهائية للتعميمات الإدارية المتعلقة بتنفيذ الفقرة 8 من الفرع سابعا من القرار 55/58 وإصدارها؛

4. Requests the Secretary-General to expeditiously finalize and issue new administrative instructions on the implementation of section VII, paragraph 8, of resolution 55/258;
4 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يعمل بصورة عاجلة على وضع وإصدار الصيغة النهائية للتعميمات الإدارية المتعلقة بتنفيذ الفقرة 8 من الجزء السابع من القرار 55/258؛

1. Article 6 of the Regulations of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, as amended by the General Assembly in paragraph 4 of section VII of its resolution 55/224 of 23 December 2000, provides as follows:
1 - تنص المادة 6 من نظام المعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي الأمم المتحدة، بصيغتها المعدلة من الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 4 من الجزء السابع من قرارها 55/224 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2000، على ما يلي:

3. Welcomes the value engineering exercises that were undertaken in the construction of office facilities of the Economic Commission for Africa, and reiterates its request to the Secretary-General contained in paragraph 3 of section VII of its resolution 66/247;
3 - ترحب بأعمال هندسة القيمة التي نُفذت في إطار تشييد مرافق المكاتب التابعة للجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا، وتكرر طلبها إلى الأمين العام بمضمونه الوارد في الفقرة 3 من الجزء السابع من قرارها 66/247؛

This would lead to a change in the governance structure of the Fund, contrary to paragraph 12 of section VII of General Assembly resolution 68/247 A, and it is not hard to imagine the conflicts of interest this will create.
وسيؤدي ذلك إلى تغيير في الهيكل الإداري للصندوق، خلافا لما ورد في الفقرة 12 من الجزء السابع من قرار الجمعية العامة 68/247 ألف، وليس من الصعب أن يتخيل المرء أشكال تضارب المصالح التي ستنشأ عن هذا الوضع.

5. Recalls paragraph 5 of section VII of resolution 66/247 and paragraph 14 of the report of the Advisory Committee, and in this regard requests the Secretary-General to pursue his efforts and bring this matter to a swift conclusion, and to provide an update in his next progress report;
٥ - تشير إلى الفقرة 5 من الجزء السابع من القرار 66/247 والفقرة 14 من تقرير اللجنة الاستشارية، وتطلب في هذا الصدد إلى الأمين العام أن يواصل جهوده للتعجيل بحل هذه المسألة، وأن يقدم آخر ما يستجد من معلومات عنها في تقريره المرحلي المقبل؛

In paragraph 7 of section VII of that resolution, the Assembly recognized the importance of establishing a full-time representative of the Secretary-General for the investment of the assets of the Fund but decided to defer approval of the matter to the first part of its resumed sixty-eighth session.
وفي الفقرة 7 من الجزء السابع من هذا القرار، تسلم الجمعية العامة بأهمية إنشاء وظيفة لممثل للأمين العام متفرغ لشؤون استثمار أصول الصندوق، لكنه قرر إرجاء الموافقة على هذه المسألة إلى الجزء الأول من الدورة الثامنة والستين المستأنفة.

20. The Advisory Committee encourages these efforts and further recommends the Secretary-General, in concert with the Management Committee, to continue and intensify his own efforts to raise voluntary contributions to support the work of the Court, pursuant to paragraph 18 of section VII of General Assembly resolution 59/276.
20 - وتشجع اللجنة الاستشارية هذه الجهود، وتوصي كذلك الأمين العام بأن يعمل، في تضافر مع اللجنة الإدارية، على مواصلة وتكثيف جهوده لجمع التبرعات من أجل دعم عمل المحكمة، عملا بالفقرة 18 من الجزء السابع من قرار الجمعية العامة 59/276.

28. The Special Committee's visit to Lebanon was aimed at broadening its cooperation with Member States in keeping with General Assembly resolution 24/43 (XXIII) and rule 13 of section VII of the Special Committee's rules of procedure.
28 - كان الهدف من زيارة اللجنة الخاصة للبنان هو توسيع نطاق تعاونها مع الدول الأعضاء، تمشيا مع قرار الجمعية العامة 24/43 (د-23) والمادة 13 من الجزء السابع من النظام الداخلي للجنة الخاصة.

19. Mr. Quezada (Chile) said that he had joined the consensus on draft resolution A/C.5/61/L.49 on the understanding that paragraph 7 of section VII did not mean that language skills would become a mandatory element of selection and training processes for peacekeeping staff.
19 - السيد كيسادا (شيلي)، قال إنه انضم إلى توافق الآراء بشأن مشروع القرار A/C.5/61/L.49، على أساس فهمه أن الفقرة 7 من الجزء السابع لا تعني أن المهارات اللغوية ستكون عنصرا إلزاميا بالنسبة لعمليتي اختيار وتدريب موظفي حفظ السلام.

4. Recalls paragraph 7 of section VII of its resolution 59/276 of 23 December 2004, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure that future budget proposals for special political missions are presented at an early date in order to facilitate proper consideration by the General Assembly;
4 - تشيـر إلى الفقرة 7 من الجزء السابع من قرارها 59/276 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2004، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل عرض مقترحات الميزانية المقبلة المتعلقة بالبعثات السياسية الخاصة في وقت مبكـر، بهـدف تيسيـر نظر الجمعية العامة فيهـا بشكل مناسب؛

Also recalls paragraph 13 of section VII of resolution 68/247 A and paragraph 26 of the report of the Advisory Committee, and requests the Board to inform the General Assembly of the outcome of the revision of the memorandum of understanding between the Office of Human Resources Management and the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund in the context of its next report to the Assembly;
