١٨٤ - أحاطت اللجنة علما بأن اﻷكاديمية الدولية للملاحة الفضائية والاتحاد الفلكي الدولي قد تقدمتا بطلب للحصول على مركز المراقب لدى اللجنة، وأنه جرى تعميم المراسلات المتعلقة بذلك والنظامين اﻷساسيين لهاتين المنظمتين غير الحكوميتين أثناء الدورة الثانية والثلاثين للجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية لكي تطلع عليها الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة.

The Committee agreed with the Subcommittee (A/AC.105/607, para. 38) that the purpose of the questionnaire was to seek the preliminary views of States members of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space on various issues relating to aerospace objects.
وأبدت اللجنة اتفاقها مع اللجنة الفرعية )A/AC.105/607، الفقرة ٣٨( على أن الغرض من الاستبيان هو استطلاع اﻵراء اﻷولية للدول اﻷعضاء في لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية بشأن مختلف المسائل المتعلقة باﻷجسام الموجودة في الغلاف الجوي.
