Following that meeting, a note verbale, dated 31 January 2008, was sent to the State party requesting it to ensure that the compensation be commensurate with the gravity of the violations of the author's rights.
وعقب هذا الاجتماع، وُجّهت إلى الدولة الطرف مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 31 كانون الثاني/يناير 2008 طلبت فيها اللجنة منها الحرص على أن يكون مقدار التعويضات مناسبا لخطورة انتهاكات حقوق مقدمة البلاغ.

The State party denies that it has violated any of the author's rights and considers that the national courts correctly evaluated the law and facts of this case.
تنفي الدولة الطرف أن تكون قد انتهكت أي حق من حقوق صاحبي البلاغ وتعتبر أن المحاكم الوطنية قامت بتقييم القانون والوقائع على نحو صحيح فيما يتعلق بهذه القضية.

The authorities' failure to act in this regard constitutes a violation of the author's rights under article 7, read in conjunction with article 2, paragraph 3, of the Covenant.
