Mr. Scott (United States of America) thanked the representative of Morocco for his efforts and asked the members of the Committee to try to appreciate his delegation’s tireless efforts to arrive at a consensus, both on the matter of the consolidated draft resolution and on the question of Guam and the other decolonization issues.

The Special Committee considered the question of St. Helena at its tenth meeting, on 23 June 2003, in the context of the consolidated draft resolution A/AC.109/2003/L.13 on the questions of American Samoa, Anguilla, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guam, Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the United States Virgin Islands.
