The Committee considers reports of States on the legislative, judicial, administrative or other measures that they have adopted to give effect to the provisions of the Convention and on the progress made in this respect.

Pursuant to Article 15 of the Convention, each Party to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants shall report to the Conference of the Parties on the measures it has taken to implement the provisions of the Convention and on the effectiveness of such measures in meeting the objectives of the Convention.

178. In its resolution 2004/56, the Commission requested the Secretary-General to report to it at its sixty-second session on the status of the Convention and on the efforts made by the Secretariat to promote the Convention and the protection of the rights of migrant workers.

In particular, views were exchanged on the content of article 76, paragraph 8, of the Convention and on the competence of the Tribunal regarding disputes relating to the establishment of the outer limits of the continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles.
